It's a big brassy Broadway musical with a heart, and will put you in the holiday spirit. Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade needs a new Santa. Enter Kris Kringle – a sweet and jolly old man who claims that he is the real Santa Claus. Thus begins this funny, warm, tuneful, and inspirational musical as Kris has to prove his claim in court and teach his cynical neighbor and her daughter to believe in the goodness and love that is Christmas. Written by Meredith Willson, the creator of THE MUSIC MAN, this is an unforgettable musical version of a classic Christmas tale. Take a journey with us as we travel to Canada and experience the beauty, the history,
the fun and the culture of The Maritimes which are
Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
Before entering Canada, we will make a stop in Bar Harbor, Maine and have a guided tour
of Acadia National Park and visit the beautiful downtown waterfront district
for some free time and shopping.
Upon arriving in Canada, we will spend two nights in Halifax, the capital city of Nova Scotia. Peggy’s Cove is home to the most famous lighthouse in all of Canada
and is a highlight of the tour. When we are on Prince Edward Island, our guided tour will take us to picturesque rural villages, gently rolling pastures,
and the beautiful contrast of colors provided by deep red soil and the whitecaps on the waves. We visit the world-famous Anne of Green Gables Heritage Site
based on the novels written by L.M. Montgomery. Step back in time as you visit the home of fictional character Anne of Green Gables, stroll through Lover’s Lane or the Haunted Woods, and of course grab a treat at the Butter Churn Café.
The Hopewell Rocks are huge rock formations standing 40-70 feet tall, which were shaped by the huge tides from the Bay of Fundy. Our guided tour in New Brunswick includes the waterside town of Saint John, the City Market, views of the Bay of Fundy,
the Reversing Falls Rapids, and the history of Canada’s oldest incorporated city.
We also visit King’s Landing Historical Settlement, one of Canada’s premier tourist attractions, a living history museum with original buildings from the period of 1820-1920.
Before heading home, we will make a short stop at Niagara Falls State Park for time to view the falls and maybe even take the Maid of the Mist boat cruise on your own.

After a quick drive through the historic town of Prairie du Chien, WI, we'll board the Celebration Belle and cruise down river to Dubuque, IA. During the day you can sit back and enjoy the river scenery as the Celebration Belle cruises through the beautiful Palisades, along the tower bluffs, and locks through two Lock & Dams.
